Russ encountered the problem from the engineering side: industrial operations running critical processes on sensors that nobody was actually monitoring. The data existed — pressure transducers, flow meters, soil tension sensors. The infrastructure to act on it didn't.
He was built to solve it differently. Russ brings an aerospace R&D background — embedded systems and RF communications for operational environments that can't afford failure — from Cal Poly and UC San Diego.
Modulink is what happens when aerospace-grade RF engineering meets an industrial problem that didn't need new science. It needed someone to actually build it.

Falcon Water Technologies, Conroe, TX, is an RO membrane-cleaning services company. Modulink has been monitoring their cleaning skids in production since 2025.
The relationship has since expanded through Phase 3 — Modulink hardware is now designed into Falcon's product line as an OEM component, with a read-only ERP integration running in production.
We started with an operator who told us exactly what was broken. We built what they needed, and it's still running.
